Changing about page background images (Step by Step)

STEP 1.

Make sure you’re on the about page template in the customizer and that you’re on on the blue “template” level of the design.

STEP 2.

Scroll down to the instagram block section, then hover over the block to see the green settings icon. Click it to find the settings for the block with the background image in it and click “customize”.

STEP 3.

On the customization screen for the block, scroll down to the “background image and color” section. There you can see the image size we uploaded, and delete the old image to upload your own.

Background image sizing

For the background images we always size to 2000 x 1333 at 72dpi and saved as JPEG at quality 6 in Photoshop and 60 in Lightroom. We also use JPEGMINI Pro to downsize images without any image quality loss.
